As member of the BSI community, you are directly involved in the actions, decisions, and directions that the BSI Canal Advisory Committee takes. We are after all, a community and it behooves us to act like a community, which means we all have a responsibility to not only ourselves, but everyone else in the BSI community.
For those of you that haven’t read it, please click HERE for the City of Punta Gorda's Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6 – Vessels, Docks, and Waterways. It is this document that is the basis for the Committee's deliberations and decisions. If you want to understand why the Committee approves/declines anything pertaining to special permits, this code is the basis for its decision-making.
Information about the Committee may be found HERE on the City of Punta Gorda’s website.
Agendas and meeting minutes of the Committee may be found HERE in the AVAILABLE ARCHIVES section of the webpage.
And lastly, below you will find some articles published in our weekly Tuesday Bulletins.
