To ensure our neighborhood's safety, we have cameras at the entrances to BSI at both Monaco and Madrid as well as a camera in the empty lot aimed at the lock which accesses Alligator Creek. For the privacy of our residents, video from our surveillance cameras will only be given to our Punta Gorda Police Department to view or to use. Video is not for personal residential use, unless requested through proper channels of the Punta Gorda Police Department.
But our vigilant residents are our best security system. So if you see something, say something! Call the police ASAP!
BSIA wishes you to follow proper procedures if you experience or witness an incident within our neighborhood:
1) Call 911, or the non-emergency PGPD line. 941-639-4111.
2) Fill out an incident report with the PGPD.
3) Make a note of the date AND time frame the incident occurred, as well as any other helpful information, i.e. make, model and color of a vehicle, and/or description of a suspect.
Thank you,
BSIA Security Director
