Mom Sugalskis Fried/Baked Chicken

Cooking Time:  1 ½ to 2 hours (includes fry time)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Mix bread crumbs, flour and salt and pepper in a shallow bowl.  Mix eggs and milk in second bowl and lightly Wisk.  Dip chicken pieces into egg mixture and dredge thru seasoned bread crumb mix coating each piece of chicken completely.

Place chicken pieces into a frying pan and fry pieces until brown on each side (just a few minutes per side).  Place chicken into a glass cooking dish (coated with Pam or vegetable oil) and add a small amount of water to keep chicken moist.

Cover dish and bake chicken in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 ½ hours.  Serve hot in original baking dish.

Comments:

            This is an excellent “Polish Grandma” recipe that was provided without quantities as she knew how much to use based on the number of people being served.  You may have to adjust the ingredients as you become familiar with the recipe.
